In addition to getting price, quality, and value when buying goods and services, businesses can use the Social Purchasing Portal (SPP) list of suppliers to add social value to their purchases without increasing your existing expenditures. Suppliers listed on the portal are committed to Employment Equity and have signed an agreement to create job opportunities for individuals who require further support to enter the workforce. Every purchasing order placed through the Social Purchasing Portal (SPP) serves to increase the suppliers' need and capacity to generate employment.
